Plants not only make your home chic and colourful, they absorb toxins and boost the oxygen content in the air.

They add so much to your home it terms of health and interior decoration, yet so many of us are of the opinion “I kill everything!”  and therefore dismiss ever buying another plant.

A new customer came into our shop the other day and commented that he was pleased to have found a plant shop in Ripon having just moved into the area. He said that in Holland (where he came from)  when you a buy a new house the Estate Agent fills it with plants as welcome gift. What a lovely idea I thought! We should be more like our European friends and embrace house plants more.

Anthurium . Exotic and striking flowers will flourish in a warm, bright living area.

The Fiddleleaf Fig, The Weeping Fig (As above) and the Peace Lily not only look beaufiful but remove the toxin formaldehyde found in carpets, fibre board and foam insulation from the air.

African Violets cope very well with heat. They look very pretty arranged in a group in a kitchen.

Easy Care. Succulents and Cacti need little appart from occasional water in Sring to Autumn and a sunny spot.

Laura and Richard’s wedding at Rudding Park was such pleasure this summer. Laura and her family are delightful people. The bride looked like a film star in her vintage inspired lace gown. The colours of the flowers and the vintage crockery all came together so perfectly on the day.
